As the following of this product grew, we were encouraged by several of our larger retailers to increase our available sizes and create new products. By 1997, Aqua Sports had steadily expanded, introducing new sizes and configurations of banana boats and growing to the largest distributor of water sleds in the United States. In 1998, Aqua Sports developed its first water trampolines and soon after trademarked the name Island Hopper™.
