How we choose
We favor gifts that invite participation rather than prescribe every moment.
What we look for
Flexible ways to play, a sensible fit for the child’s interests, manageable storage, and value beyond the first unwrapping. We consider cleanup, noise, batteries, adult involvement, and small parts.
What our recommendations mean
Our current catalog offers category buying advice, illustrated with original drawings. It does not represent specific tested products. We have not personally tested the catalog, and budget figures are estimates rather than current retail prices.
Before specific products go live
We will check the manufacturer’s specifications and age guidance, use permitted imagery, and label the evidence behind each recommendation. Hands-on testing will only be claimed when it has actually taken place.
Age is a starting point
Children develop different interests and abilities. Always follow the exact product’s age label, warnings, and instructions, especially when younger siblings share the space.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate commissions must not determine what we say about a toy. Paid placements, if introduced, will be clearly labeled.
